Muahahaha!
Hello....my last post got no love, so I'm posting another one....hopefully it will get a little attention....they say they only take the "best of the best" in wall submissions so they aren't too overwhelmed with pictures....mine are good I think....good enough to AT LEAST be put on here....also, they say they don't accept wallpapers submitted that there are currently a plethora of....in that case, I couldn't find any Itunes wallpapers on this site, so I got to work on an Itunes wallpaper.....I don't even see that one on here. I know I'm not a bad artist, I'm not the best, not to sound snooty, but I'm better than many, and definitely not the worst. So what WTH is going on here?

The wallpapers were moderated

There are/were two...both used the good old lens-flare 'filter'....generally never a great idea.

Filters can be 'fun'...but rarely compensate for a lack of manual creative effort...

Do you have an account?

If so, you should have a tab at the upper right of the page which says "My Skins", clicking this will give you a page at the top of which is the word "Display" with a drop down list beside it. Looking in this list shortly after uploading (maybe not immediately after), should show the upload in "Moderation".

If you receive a "Congratulations" e-mail, you will know it has been accepted (though sometimes things get accepted without receiving e-mails), and you will notice if you return to the drop down list - that the listing in "Moderation" is gone.

If on the other hand you don't receive word via e-mail, the in "Moderation" listing is gone, and your upload is not displayed in the library you uploaded to - your submission did not pass moderation.

It is my understanding that e-mails informing authors of denial of submission are no longer sent out due to some ugly developments when a number of authors were unhappy with the denial of submission of their art. Therefore, the wait and see for 5 days comes into play, as well as the listing of in "Moderation" to give the author verification that the upload did indeed make it to the moderation stage.

I understand the disappointment of not having a wall accepted. I have submitted a number of them, and feel very fortunate to have had 2 make the cut. There are some articles in the forum about wallpaper guidelines which outline some of the things to take into mind when creating walls for upload to this site.
I think if you use "Wallpaper Guidelines" or similar to search the articles or forums, you will find them. There are two that come to mind that are quite helpful.

Sorry your last post got no love, I hope this helps in some way.

Wow..I feel the love now..Dont you?...

LoL... Sometimes posts are just missed..dont take it personally..sometimes a simple "Bump" reply in your original thread will bring it back to the surface for people to take a look that may have missed it the first go around..

There are ALOT of problems to be answered and sometimes, unfortunaltely some of them get missed..

Zero.
